Loved the press badge! |
I always enjoy receiving Miners Cosmetics' parcels. I love it that their products smell nice (like candy!), are cute, affordable and good quality as well. This time I have received something really exciting - Mood Gloss, which is a colour changing lip gloss! Oooooo! I hear you say. And Oooo it really was!!
Mood gloss changes from a clear or white colour to pink, and it really worked! I got a darker shade of pink, a bit like rose colour, while Abby got a sweet pink colour on hers. I am guessing that it changes with temperature, so the warmer it is, the darker it gets.
There are two versions, the one above (Peace Pout) is shimmery. It started off as a white colour with beautiful shimmery particles. When I used my finger to rub it on a piece of paper, it started to turn pink. The longer I kept my finger on, the darker it gets (Edit) until it settles down to match my finger's temperature. (Edit End)
The Glastonberry shown above is a plain colour. It started off as clear, and quickly builds up to a lovely pink shade.
Not only are they fun to use, they are very moisturising as well, and they are only £2.49 each (9ml). The colour stays on even after I have wiped the gloss off (tested on my wrist).
Another lovely beauty product that came with the parcel is their latest Blusher Bricks. It comes in brown and pink, each with 3 shades for you to build up to the right shade of a flush of pink or a bronze blush.
You can use them together to create one colour, or you can use them separately for highlights and low-lights too. The bricks pattern created a friction, making it much easier to remove the colour for application.
It seems like the lightest shade from the brown matches my tone perfectly, as it took me a while to put enough on my wrist to show it! The pink shades are lovely and very easy to blend to create the right shade. I just have to make sure that both cheeks are the same!
The Blusher Bricks cost just £4.49 for 6g. You can check here for a list of stockists, or simply buy online on their website.
