John Crane's Two Toned Yellow Chair

We have been sent a two toned yellow chair by John Crane Ltd to review through blog-match as part of their latest campaign. It just happened that we are looking for children's table and chairs, but most of them are quite unstable and poorly made. Therefore the arrival of the chair was a pleasant surprise.

The chair arrived as above in the picture. At first I was a bit skeptical, because I had the experience of trying to screw parts together but they either don't align properly or the screws caused cracks in the wood. But when I turned the chair around, I felt reliefed and was impressed.

John Crane Ltd had already fitted a metal fitting into the body, making it much easier to fit the legs. This way, I don't have to worry about misalignment and cracks. The chair is very sturdy and solid, being made of replenishable rubberwood. It has a smooth finish, and a cut-out on the backrest to make it easier to move the chair around.

The chair looks really cute and comes in a range of colours (green, purple, blue, pink and yellow) that will liven up any rooms. When Abby saw the chair she went "Ooooo is that mine?? Can I sit on it please? ...When can I sit on it? Can I sit on it now mummy..." and before I can finish my last few shots, she just sat on it and refused to move.

The chair costs around £25, and it is definitely value for money. You can check here for your nearest John Crane stockist.
